Working in partnership with the West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority (Centro), these schemes include: junction improvements; bus priority measures; upgraded passenger waiting facilities (shelters and stops); improved pedestrian crossings; improved cycling facilities; and park & ride facilities. Committed future schemes include Route 301 Walsall – Bloxwich. Anticipated future schemes include key sections of Route 529 Walsall – Wolverhampton; Route 404 Walsall – Blackheath; Route 311/313 Walsall – Stourbridge; and Route 51 Walsall – Birmingham Park & Ride. Bus showcase and red route schemes are often implemented in conjunction with each other.
